Lovely handwoven vintage Turkish Kayseri rug in the dreamiest autumnal palette of warm cream, faded terracotta, tobacco brown, ochre, aubergine and soft olive, with tiny flashes of dusty turquoise running throughout.

At the centre sits a large floral medallion in deep aubergine and muted pink, surrounded by an incredibly detailed network of delicate flowering vines and botanical motifs across a warm creamy field. Larger stylised flowers punctuate the design, while the terracotta inner border and rich golden outer border frame everything beautifully.

There's something wonderfully warm and nostalgic about this one. The colours have mellowed beautifully with age, giving it a soft, slightly sun-faded quality that feels much more relaxed than a traditional formal rug. All those tobacco, rust and ochre tones give it a proper 70s feel without being overly retro.

Kayseri rugs are celebrated for their fine weaving and intricate floral designs, and Güz is a lovely example. Handwoven in wool on a cotton foundation, the relatively low pile allows all of those tiny botanical details to remain beautifully defined while making it incredibly versatile and easy to live with.

A gorgeous piece for adding warmth and pattern to a neutral room, particularly lovely alongside dark wood, chrome, leather, olive green or anything a little mid-century.

In excellent vintage condition, with no holes or tears. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
