Golnar
Lovely vintage Persian Bakhtiari is packed with bold character, woven in rich raspberry reds, deep indigo blues, crisp ivory and flashes of coral, pinks, saffron and emerald wool. The striking central medallion takes centre stage, surrounded by a wonderfully expressive mix of stylised florals and geometric motifs that feel both ancient and surprisingly graphic.
Handwoven by the Bakhtiari tribes of western Iran, these rugs are celebrated for their robust construction, rich natural dyes and joyful use of colour.
The oversized medallion anchors the composition beautifully, while the deep navy border frames the design and allows the vibrant colours to really sing. It's the kind of rug that instantly lifts a room, sitting just as comfortably alongside mid-century furniture and contemporary interiors as it does with eclectic vintage pieces.
Handwoven from high-quality wool, the pile has softened beautifully over the decades while remaining wonderfully durable. A timeless investment piece that's built to be lived with for generations.
In great vintage condition with no holes or tears. Gentle age-related wear is consistent with a handmade rug of this era and only adds to its authentic charm. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
