A lovely handwoven Persian Sarouk Mahal rug, celebrated for its elegant floral design and beautifully balanced central medallion. Woven in rich tones of deep navy, warm red, and soft ivory.
Originating from the Arak region of central Iran, Sarouk Mahal rugs are known for their large-scale floral patterns and enduring appeal. Combining decorative artistry with robust craftsmanship, they were made to bring both beauty and longevity to everyday interiors.
This piece has a lovely, slightly rustic handle and a thick, weighty wool pile, giving it a grounded feel and a durability that stands the test of time.
In good vintage condition overall, with no holes or major damage. There is gentle wear adding to its timeworn charm. One corner shows an area of wear to the pile, along with a shorter fringe, both in keeping with age and use. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next chapter.
