Rania is a gorgeous colorful vintage boucherouite rug in vibrate pink, teal, green and maroon again.

Handwoven by Berber women in Morocco, Boucherouite rugs (boo-shay-REET) are joyful works of art made from recycled fabric, wool, and cotton. Each piece is totally unique, bursting with colour and creative energy.

Originally crafted for everyday use - to sit on, play on, or protect precious wool rugs - these vibrant textiles now bring their relaxed spirit to your home. Perfect for adding warmth, personality, and a pop of happy colour to any space. Its soft and floofy texture feels wonderful underfoot.

The patterns on boucherouite rugs are often asymmetrical, featuring geometric shapes, Berber symbols, and abstract motifs that convey cultural stories and personal expressions of the weaver.

Being handmade, these rugs may exhibit some irregularities such as wonky edges, natural fading, and colour variations. However, these characteristics only add to the charm and appeal of the Moroccan rug.

In excellent condition with no holes, there is a slight tear in top corner of the rug that adds to its vintage charm and can be seen in the attached images. The fringe has been nibbled, and it has been stabilised. The rug has been professionally washed and cleaned, making it ready to find its new home.
