This vintage Persian Mashad rug is a proper statement piece, all about rich crimson reds, inky navy, soft powder blues and warm blush tones, woven into an incredibly detailed floral composition that somehow feels just as at home in a contemporary space as it would in a grand old house.

The oversized central medallion is framed by flowing botanical motifs and an intricate navy border, creating that classic Persian look without ever feeling stuffy. It's bold, colourful and full of movement, the kind of rug that instantly anchors a room and lets everything else work around it.

Handwoven in north-east Iran, Mashad rugs are renowned for their exceptional quality and generous proportions. They're made to last, with a dense wool pile that's soft underfoot, incredibly durable and only gets better with age.

Whether it's paired with chrome and glass, vintage leather, mid-century furniture or clean contemporary interiors, this is one of those rugs that effortlessly bridges old and new.

Great condition, no holes or tears. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
