A proper showstopper, one-of-a-kind Moroccan rug with a brilliantly graphic composition and a colour palette that's anything but ordinary.

Electric turquoise, burnt orange, hot pink and rich chocolate brown collide with flashes of buttery yellow, soft lilac, slate grey and natural ivory. A wonderfully unexpected combination of oversized colour blocks, geometric shapes, irregular stripes and punchy checkerboard detailing.

There's something distinctly '80s about this one. Think Memphis Milano meets Bauhaus-inspired geometry, with a little punk collage thrown in for good measure. The design feels almost like a collection of abstract artworks pieced together, with contrasting shapes and colours overlapping and interrupting one another.

The large blocks of saturated colour give the rug a strong architectural quality, while the smaller graphic details add a playful, slightly chaotic edge. There's a brilliant contrast between the clean geometric sections and the more irregular, almost hand-drawn markings, giving the whole composition a real sense of movement.

The combination of electric blue and burnt orange is particularly good, with the hot pink and yellow bringing an unexpected hit of colour. Meanwhile, the chocolate brown, slate grey and natural ivory help ground the design, stopping it from feeling too overwhelming. Bold, but with a surprisingly clever balance of colour and pattern.

Part rug, part graphic artwork. A wonderfully offbeat statement piece with heaps of personality and definitely not one for blending into the background.
