A seriously gorgeous vintage Persian Tabriz rug, featuring an incredibly rich inky navy field bursting with oversized florals, trailing vines and tiny botanical details, all framed by a bold raspberry-red border.

Rather than the more formal central medallion seen in many Persian rugs, this one has a beautiful all-over floral composition, allowing the pattern to flow freely across the entire field. Soft blush pinks, powder blue, sage green, ivory, ochre and flashes of brighter red sit against that deep navy background, creating an incredible amount of depth and colour without ever feeling too busy.

The border is a bit of a showstopper in itself. A saturated raspberry-red ground is filled with large-scale palmettes and floral motifs in dusty pink, blue and cream, giving the whole rug a brilliant graphic frame. Up close, the level of detail is pretty special, with something new hiding amongst the flowers every time you look.

Handwoven in Tabriz in north-west Iran, a region renowned for producing some of Persia's most intricately woven rugs, this piece has that lovely balance between refined craftsmanship and bold colour that makes vintage Persian rugs work so well in contemporary interiors.

Despite the traditional floral design, there’s nothing stuffy about this one. The combination of dark navy and almost hot-pink red feels surprisingly modern and would look incredible alongside chrome and stainless steel, dark woods, leather, mid-century furniture or a more minimal contemporary space.

Handwoven in wool with a beautifully dense pile, it’s soft underfoot while still having the durability these rugs are known for. A proper statement piece that can completely anchor a living room, bedroom or dining space.

Great condition, a little colour bleed in areas but in great vintage condition otherwise. No holes or tears, limited wear. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
