A seriously fun handwoven Moroccan rug with an expressive abstract design in vibrant hot pink, soft mint, dusty blue, warm cream and charcoal grey. Bold blocks of colour are mixed with checkerboard detailing, irregular geometric shapes and loose graphic motifs, giving this one a wonderfully playful, almost painterly feel.

There’s something very retro and mid-century about the design, but the unexpected colour palette keeps it feeling fresh and contemporary. The huge wash of pink is the star of the show, softened by the muted mint and blue tones and grounded with little touches of charcoal and natural wool.

Handwoven in Morocco using thick wool, it has a beautifully tactile, plush pile and a lovely softness underfoot. The slight irregularities throughout the design are part of what makes it so good, nothing feels overly perfect or manufactured, and the whole thing has loads of character.
