A super fun handwoven Moroccan rug featuring a bold, abstract design in soft lilac, warm peach, natural cream, burnt orange, electric turquoise and black. The playful mix of colour, graphic shapes and wandering black lines gives this one a wonderfully expressive, almost giving a piece of modern art feel.

The design is completely free-form, moving between blocks of colour, irregular geometric shapes, checkerboard detailing and little abstract motifs scattered throughout. There’s something very mid-century modern meets Memphis design about this one, playful and slightly chaotic, but with a soft enough palette to make it surprisingly easy to style.

Handwoven in Morocco using thick wool, it has a wonderfully tactile, plush pile and a lovely softness underfoot. The natural cream gives the brighter colours some breathing room, while those pops of turquoise and burnt orange really bring the whole thing to life.

Its smaller size makes it a brilliant accent rug for beside a bed, in a reading nook, under a coffee table or anywhere that could do with a hit of colour and personality. It would look especially good paired with chrome, warm woods, leather, colourful vintage furniture or a more minimal interior where the rug can do all the talking.
