Lovely vintage Persian Tabriz pairs a rich midnight navy field with a beautifully soft coral border, creating the kind of colour combination that feels effortlessly timeless. Intricate scrolling vines, blooming florals and an elegant central medallion are woven throughout in thick shades of powder blue, blush, ivory, sage and warm tobacco, giving the whole piece incredible depth without ever feeling overpowering.
Woven in north-west Iran, Tabriz rugs are renowned for their exceptionally fine craftsmanship and beautifully detailed floral compositions. Every inch of this piece has been carefully considered, balancing symmetry with organic movement to create a rug that's equally at home beneath contemporary furniture as it is amongst antiques and vintage finds.
The deep navy ground allows the botanical motifs to really come alive, while the coral border softens the overall palette, making it surprisingly versatile. Pair it with chrome, walnut, travertine, linen or buttery leather and it'll instantly ground the room with warmth and character.
Handwoven from high-quality wool, the pile has softened beautifully over the years while remaining wonderfully dense and durable. It's one of those forever rugs that only gets better with age.
In excellent vintage condition with no holes or tears. There is gentle, age-related wear consistent with a handmade piece of this era, adding to its authentic character. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
