Zand
A rare handwoven tribal Persian rug by Qashqai nomadic weavers, full of character and rich, earthy tone. Woven in the Shiraz region, this piece features a warm burnt orange field layered with deep navy, soft ivory and muted brown, brought together through bold geometric medallions and scattered tribal motifs.
Qashqai rugs are known for their expressive, free-flowing designs and durable construction, traditionally made for everyday life. Each piece carries the individuality of its maker, with small irregularities that add to its charm and authenticity.
Crafted from wool and naturally dyed, this rug has a thick, weighty pile and a lovely, slightly rustic handle, built to last and made to be lived with.
In great vintage condition, with no holes or tears. There is some gentle fading, minor colour variation and signs of historic repair in places, all in keeping with its age and adding to its character. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next chapter.
