Lovely large handwoven tribal Shiraz Ghashghai rug from Iran, handwoven the in 1970s, in deep red, navy blue, and pops of orange, brown, and cream wool. 🐪🐫

Handwoven by Qashkai nomads using soft organic wool from villages around the ancient city of Shiraz in central Iran.

A true work of art that will last for generations in a loving home.

In great condition, with no holes or tears, although there is evidence of historic repair towards the end of the rug as seen on the images. The rug is faded in some areas, with slightly uneven fringe due to its age, that adds to its charm. Looking good and ready for its new home.
