A beautifully handwoven Turkish rug featuring an intricate oversized medallion design surrounded by densely layered florals and scrolling botanical motifs in softened olive, faded mulberry, warm rust, dusty plum, cream, and tobacco tones. Woven in central Anatolia, this piece has that richly decorative, collected feel Turkish rugs do so well, detailed and expressive, yet mellowed beautifully through age and wear.

The design is especially striking here: an ornate central medallion framed by flowing vine work and scattered floral motifs that almost feel embroidered across the field. There’s a lovely balance between symmetry and movement, giving the rug a softer, more organic presence despite its intricate detailing. The palette has also aged beautifully, with earthy reds and olive greens fading into warm neutrals that feel incredibly easy to style.

Handwoven from wool with naturally softened dyes, it has a smooth low-to-medium pile and a beautifully lived-in patina developed over decades of use. Durable, timeless, and full of quiet character, the kind of rug that instantly makes a space feel layered and considered.

In excellent vintage condition, with no holes or tears. Professionally cleaned and ready for its next home.
