This handsome tribal Persian Shiraz rug from the 1970s is a super rare find - and an all-time How Bizarre favourite. Handwoven by Qashqai nomads using soft organic wool from villages surrounding the ancient city of Shiraz in central Iran, it showcases deep, earthy tones of dark red, black, navy blue, brown, emerald green and cream. 🐪🐫

A true work of art, this rug embodies craftsmanship and cultural heritage - designed to last for generations in a loving home.

In great condition with no holes or tears, it does show a little colour bleed and gentle fading in places, with signs of some historic repair, characteristic of its age and authenticity. These subtle imperfections only enhance its vintage charm.

Professionally washed and cleaned, this beautiful piece is ready to find its new home
